Sunday Feature: Boston Calling, Part III

Posted: April 6th, 2014 | Author: | Filed under: Blog

Boston Calling, the illustrious year-old Greater Boston music festival, is back for a third round and has at last finalized their line-up with a real treat: The Decemberists are going to be in town for their one and only tour date of 2014.

These indie rockers round out a stellar lineup including Death Cab for Cutie, Bastille, and Jack Johnson. Bastille in particular is a nab for the folks at the festival – they emerged out of nigh-total anonymity a year ago with their debut album, and by January of this year their tickets in Boston were scalping for a neat $100, half the early price of the entire festival. Basically – you’re getting a good deal. People shouldn’t be afraid of staying late, either – Boston’s pilot late-night metro service will be running until some ridiculous hour on that weekend.

Tickets are cheap, plentiful, and there for the taking, and the dates are May 23-25, the first time the Friday of that weekend will be included. Get pumped, Boston!
