The Information perform on Fox 25 Boston in 2005 “A Simple Plan”

The 9th and final night of the Rock and Roll Rumble is on Friday night at TT the Bears. 2 finalists + 1 wildcard will “battle” it out for the coveted Rumble crown. In addition there will be a special performance by The Information, who participated in 2003’s Rumble. This 35th year of the Rock and Roll Rumble has seen many great bands bring their best to perform night after night. Friday night is sure to sell out, so get your tickets early so you’re not listening from the sidewalk.

Read more for the bands playing the Finals:

Await Rescue (wildcard)

After being eliminated from the semi-finals, Await Rescue is back as a wildcard for the Finals. This hard rocking, take-no-prisoners outfit will definitely get your attention.

Petty Morals (finalist)

The winner from Semi-final Night 1, this dance band has relentless grooves, all the moves, and amazing vocal talent all around. No sugar and all spice for these ladies who know how to start and finish the party.

Goddamn Draculas (finalist)

Winner of Semi-Final Night 2, these boys know how to bring the fist-pumping rock and roll. Their sound is big and full of solid instrumentation.

The Information (special guest)

Back in 2004 they were a wildcard semi-finalist. They haven’t played since 2009, and I am really looking forward to seeing one of Boston’s best bands of the early 2000s.

This is an amazing bill that no one intentionally made. It’ll be filled with power, energy and love. Come join the crowd and be part of Boston rock history. Bands and The Rumble will have merch available at TT the Bear’s so bring extra cash to grab a tshirt or EP or whatever.
